AgroEcology, Maui

Agroecology is a holistic approach that seeks to reconcile agriculture and local communities with natural processes for the common benefit of nature and livelihoods.

Our first operating farm is being developed on 18 acres of an old sugar plantation at an elevation of 2,000 feet above sea level. Here we are harvesting specialized crops such as; Aji Amarillo, Aji Limo, Rocoto, Giant Andean Corn and Asparagus. Most of the harvested crops will be converted into value added products which will be produced in partnership with University of Hawaii Maui College and other local businesses.
